Sigmascreening will be sharing at the Congrès SIFEM exciting feedback from their new installation of the Sensitive Sigma™ Paddle at the Centre Réne Huguenin- Institut Curie.

In the context of a larger research study on the influence of the use of the Sensitive Sigma™ Paddle on compression practices, patient satisfaction, dose and image quality at the Centre Réne Huguenin- Institut Curie: the preliminary results showed a significant reduction in breast thickness while 90% of the patients expressed superior or similar comfort levels compared to their previous mammography examination. The Sensitive Sigma™ Paddle has also been extremely positively received by the medical staff (radiologists and radiographers):

Within two weeks, there were improvements of the perceived overall image quality, better involvement of the technicians on their compression and positioning technique and increased communication with their patients thereby driving voluntary compliance from the patient to reach the optimal compression thanks to the Sensitive Sigma™ Paddle.
